Chris Morse, CISA, CISM

Position: CIO/CISO Juvo Technologies / Managing Partner Vendorin
Email: cmorse@juvotec.com
Office: 800.300.1853

Chris started his career in Information Technology as a developer working on low level systems and devices using C and C++. With the newly emerging “Web” and it’s endless possibilities of the mid-late 90’s, he settled in as an ATL developer writing web components using Visual C++. He then migrated to developing larger systems, including graphical work and software to estimate large commercial construction projects. Additionally, his background includes designing and developing systems for finance, logistics, banking, and hospitality. His specialties include performance tuning for large databases, IT Governance, and Risk Management. He has also served as the Director of IT, SOX Auditor, and interim CIO for a number of clients.

Immediately prior to joining Juvo, this “recovering IT director” worked for Vaco, LLC, an accounting and IT consulting firm that was named by Inc. Magazine as the 33rd fastest growing company in the US in 2007. Chris’ experience with Vaco included helping open their Mid-South office in Memphis where he managed a contract staff of technical consultants placed on engagements for a number of clients in the Memphis area. In this role, Chris served as the functional manager, psychologist, and liaison to management for his consultants while helping clients resource contract, special projects, and direct hire solutions.

Having joined Juvo full time in 2011, Chris was made a partner in December of 2013. His role as CIO/CISO gives him the ability to manage Juvo’s internal systems, while also allowing him to bring creative solutions to Juvo prospects and clients. With Juvo’s acquisition of Vendorin, Chris has been primarily focused on integrating existing technologies being used by both companies, while also leading the development efforts on new platforms that will allow even more clients to take advantage of the Juvo-Vendorin solution.

Chris is also an AMGA Certified Climbing Instructor. When he’s not at work geeking out on new compliance related regulations, you can usually find him scrambling up a remote rock somewhere in the world. When not defying gravity, Chris enjoys running, hiking, biking and anything else that lets him enjoy the outdoors with his three children, Austin, Charlie, and Anna Katherine.
