Wireline Management

Wireline Management

Having relationships with over 100 telecommunications carriers and providers, Juvo brings a unique capability to the management market. While we’re capable of performing audits and generating one time savings plans, our management service allows clients to achieve savings via a variety of sources: better pricing through our agent channels, eliminating unnecessary services and fees, elimination of billing errors, network design, and introduction to federal programs that exist for unique clients. While no two clients are ever the same, our fully managed clients typically see an initial 3 year savings ranging at approximately 25%.

Wireless Management

Wireless Management

The challenges and solutions within Wireless Management are truly distinct from those within Wireline Management, which is why having a trusted partner like Juvo on your team is so important. Within the wireless environment, Juvo’s management portal is highly flexible, meaning not only can the system effectively manage data from the four largest wireless providers, but regional providers like Metro PCS an C-Spire can be integrated into the system as well.

The one common thread that runs between the wireline and wireless environments is inventory, and Juvo personnel have a solid grasp of how to manage the procurement arena, ensuring that a device that is incurring charges is actually a device that is being used, not simply a device that has been relegated to the office supply closet. The monthly rate plan analysis that Juvo conducts provides clients with timely information that allows them to make decisions that positively affect operational effectiveness and bottom line costs.

The manner in which today’s organizations rely on a mobile workforce to drive productivity is something Juvo not only understands, but helps facilitate. At a time in which more and more employees are asking (and demanding in some cases) to use their own mobile devices, “Bring Your Own Device” or BYOD, it is imperative to have a true management plan. There are alternatives to BYOD that can provide the security that IT Directors value while simultaneously giving employees the freedom they crave while also driving costs down. As an alternative to BYOD, Juvo is an advocate of COPE, or “Corporate Owned, Personally Enabled.” With Juvo’s mobile management solutions, cost cutting, security, and convenience can actually co-exist.

Contingency Audit

Contingency Audit

Legal action over the past few years has brought a great deal of relief to customers who might have been victimized by what is known as “cramming” a practice whereby end users ended up being billed for “third party” services they never requested or signed up for. While ATT has maintained no wrongdoing, it appears that the class action lawsuit against the carrier will end up costing them approximately $50 million. That’s of course a pretty steep penalty for doing nothing wrong!

Juvo personnel met with legislators in Washington in 2011 to address concerns over the practice of cramming and how it impacts customers. That the practice of cramming has nearly gone away (ATT stopped using most third party providers in 2011), has been a win for consumers, though there are still issues that can cost customers time and money. For example, what happens when a local manager orders service not knowing that a Master Service Agreement is already in place? Should the carrier know that? What happens when this location gets billed at a far higher rate than all other locations? Issues like this come up quite regularly, and fighting these charges can be challenging for any A/P department, regardless of knowledge and experience. Juvo’s contingency audits can be a great way to get a firm grasp of carrier billing and usage, while also allowing a client to get a feel for how Juvo works.

Optimization

Optimization

The term “optimization” can be applied across both the wireless and wireline aspects of an organization’s communications footprint. On the wireless side, it means ensuring that plans and devices match up with users and policies. On the wireline side, it means ensuring bandwidth matches consumption needs. It means ensuring voice quality isn’t degraded at certain times because of data usage. It means ensuring advanced technologies are stable, while also efficient. In short, the notion of optimization means making the most of organizational resources, allowing organizations to take advantage of technological advances in a manner that keeps all organizational stakeholders happy.
