That the practice of cramming has nearly gone away (ATT stopped using most third party providers in 2011), has been a win for consumers, though there are still issues that can cost customers time and money. For example, what happens when a local manager orders service not knowing that a Master Service Agreement is already in place? Should the carrier know that? What happens when this location gets billed at a far higher rate than all other locations? Issues like this come up quite regularly, and fighting these charges can be challenging for any A/P department, regardless of knowledge and experience.
